Week #5

  • Gaze – to look at someone or something in a stead way and usually for a long time

  • Infinite – having no limits

  • Celestial – of or relating to the sky

  • Constellation – a group of stars that form a particular shape in the sky and have been given a name

 

Week #6

  • Automate – to run something by using machines or computers instead of people

  • Dynamic – always changing or moving

  • Maneuver – to move clearly or skillfully

  • Asset – a useful or valuable quality

 

Week #7

  • Terrain – land of a particular kind

  • Gab – to talk a lot in a relaxed way mostly about things that are not important

  • Secluded – hidden from view; placed apart from other people

  • Provisions – a supply of food and other things that are needed

 

Week #8

  • Devour – to eat hungrily

  • Cuisine – a style of cooking

  • Pastry – a sweet baked good made of dough

  • Delectable – delicious; mouthwatering

Week 1:

  • Abandon - total lack of inhibition

  • Commonplace - ordinary, found every day

  • Lumber - to move slowly and awkwardly

  • Quibble - argue or bicker

  • Tidings – news


 

Week 2:

  • Ban - to forbid, outlaw

  • Docile - tame, willing to be taught

  • Fawn - to flatter excessively, seek the favor of

  • Grimy - dirty, filthy

  • Plucky - courageous, spunky


 

Week 3:

  • Rash - careless, hasty, reckless

  • Pending - not yet decided, awaiting decision

  • Woe - anguish; grief; affliction

  • Hectic - hasty, hurried, confused

  • Culprit - guilty person


 

Week 4:

  • Alias - assumed name

  • Riddle - to make many holes in; permeate

  • Minimal - smallest in amount, least possible

  • Sully - to soil, stain, tarnish, taint

  • Dawdle - Procrastinate; loiter; idle: daily
